GRANDMOTHER: The mother of one's father or mother.

Call her what you will, Grandmother, Grandma, Granny, Big Momma, MawMaw, Nanna, Grandmommie or MeMa, she is and will always be ready to defend her own.

And when her children have their own, she will be there for them, with all of her wisdom and experience to be a role model for them all.

This is also when she apologizes for mistakes she made when she was young in order to express her wisdom to keep them from making the same mistakes she once made.

Me as a GRANDMOTHER: I don't set in a rocker waiting to die...I rock my babies in a rocker and love living my life as an older adult. When death gets ready for me, it will have to chase me down and when it catches me...I will ask for a little more time to finish teaching my babies.

Our Grandchildren are being removed from our lives and we are heartbroken about it.

We do admit there are reasons that some children should be removed from their own families...but Mommie and Daddy getting a divorce or becoming separated is not one of them.

We are America...the heart of America. We have worked, married, raised families and are now what everyone refers to as a Senior and Grandmother.

We watch as our grandchildren are removed from our loving families. Many of us have had the miracle of these grandchildren to return when they were able, and we have learned that it was not in their best interest to be kept from the family.

We have lived our lives…and learned along the way. We have first hand experience of the effects of taking children from loving and fit parents...and kept away from loving and willing grandparents.

We join together to stand beside our children and grandchildren to say…WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH!

We love our children and our grandchildren and we want the world to know…children belong with their loving and fit parents.

It is time for Justice to take over and help families stay together…instead of taking children away from fit and loving parents.

Never under-estimate the power of a Grandma's will.
